Meet the Expert

Bill Raymond

Bill is a 17+ year member of the National Guard. A majority of his career has been focused on Domestic Operations (DOMOPS). DOMOPS refers to the missions and activities of the National Guard within the United States, assisting in disaster response, civil support, and other domestic emergencies. It's a crucial part of the National Guard's dual mission, complementing its federal, wartime responsibilities. DOMOPS focuses on supporting civil authorities, protecting citizens and infrastructure, and providing humanitarian assistance in times of need. Bill has been teaching emergency preparedness applying geospatial technology to domestic operations for some time and is looking to share his expertise with those who are interested.
